2. Locate Within an FTZ General-Purpose Zone (Industrial Park)
FTZ #26 includes several industrial parks with FTZ designation. If a warehousing / distribution operation locates within one of these sites, it is possible to begin using FTZ procedures as soon as permission (“activation”) is granted by local U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
